Nachdem der Privatsender Pro7 erst vor einigen Wochen die Verleihung des Film- und Fernsehpreises "Golden Globe" übertragen hatte, strahlt man nun ab 02:00 Uhr die Verleihung des "Grammy Award 2011" aus. Bereits zum 53. Male findet diese Gala statt, in der die Erfolgreichen der Plattenindustrie geehrt werden. Ein Teil der Awards wurden bereits vorab bekannt gegeben (um den Musikacts in der Show mehr Platz einzuräumen?).
